Tour du Mont Blanc Huts & Accommodation — All 59 Stops
The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 165.7 km loop around the massif through France, Italy and Switzerland, and every night of it is spent indoors. These are the 59 places you can sleep, in the order you meet them walking anti-clockwise from Les Houches. Forty of them sell their beds through the Tour du Mont-Blanc booking portal, which means the planner can show you their availability night by night. The rest — Bonatti, Elisabetta, Elena, the Croix du Bonhomme, Lac Blanc, Bellachat and the valley villages — take their own reservations. Book early either way: the popular huts are gone within hours of the season opening.

What the accommodation is like
Refuge / Rifugio — Mountain huts, French and Italian. Dormitories, half board, a drying room and a warden who knows the weather. The high ones — Croix du Bonhomme, Elisabetta, Bonatti, Elena, Bellachat — are the nights people remember.
Gîte d’étape / Auberge — Valley-floor equivalents in the villages: smaller dormitories or simple rooms, a kitchen, and usually a shop within walking distance.
Hotel — Courmayeur, Chamonix, Argentière and the Val Ferret have real hotels. Worth one night mid-Tour if you want a bath and a rest day.
Village — Les Contamines, La Fouly, Champex, Trient, Chamonix — not accommodation in themselves, but where the shops, buses and pharmacies are. Plan your resupply around them.
